Small Kids on Elation

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone! My parents have asked us to cruise with them in August, and we are so excited to vacation together. We're on a tight budget, so we're pretty much tied to a 3-5 day cruise. We will be bringing our two little ones, who are 4-years-old and (at the time of the cruise) 9-months-old.

We are looking at a 5 day out of Jacksonville on the Elation. Stops are Half Moon Cay and Nassau. We cruised a few times before kids, but never with them! What are your thoughts on this ship and little ones? Any advice or opinions are appreciated! :)

Love the Fantasy Class. Deck plan can be figured out practically within an hour of boarding.

Assuming you'll be in an OV or IS--Biggest issue would be your sleeping arrangements. Will your 4yo sleep up in the bunk, with you? Or on a trundle?

To have lots of floor space have the lower beds apart. One under the window, the other along a wall. The trundle or crib can be placed along the other wall. If using the bunk, on of the beds can be under the bunk.
