barneco Posted October 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2014 We are trying to make our dining reservations. On two of the nights, we have booked shows (7:30) and when we try to make dinner reservations at the specialty restaurants (Cagney's and La Cucina) for 5:30, we get a message that there is a conflict. It would seem like 2 hours is enough time to eat and get to a show. Is there someway around this? Thanks in advance, Barry
mrobstad Posted October 24, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2014 It is kinda close, but not impossible. Dinner in the specialities does take 2 hrs. I think it's an art to get dinner and shows right! 😊 Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
Cubechick Posted October 24, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 24, 2014 Just make your dinner reservations once on board. Wanting to dine at 5:30, you shouldn't have any difficulty.

Thanks in advance, Barry We just came off the Star and some of the restaurants didn't open until 6 p.m La Cucina didn't open until 7 or 7:30 and when I asked why I was told it was used as an 'overflow' for the MDR. deschoolie Posted October 24, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 24, 2014 (edited) book once onboard. Just off the Pearl and we prefer to eat early. Only once in 14 nights did I come across a full specialty at 5:30 (Moderno). Also, if you think you will be in a hurry, let your waiter know; they can considerably speed things up if need be. One evening, we unexpectedly got invited to a VIP party ( we got comped VIP status) and had already booked our restaurant. We talked with the waiter and had our entrees in La Cucina in about 25 minutes. Had time to enjoy our meal and still make the party. Oh, and on the Pearl, all the specialties were open at 5:30 pm.
