Tour guide recommendations from La Romana cruise port

We've just returned from La Romana and used Pro Excursions for our getaway to Saona Island as well as the 1/2 buggy expedition. Loved both excursions. They were very well run and organized and they really took good care of us---highly recommend them!

We used Seavis. Aside from overcrowded cabs to take you from the cruise port to Bayahibe, the excursion to Saona Island was very well done ad a lot of fun.

We are doing the Seavis Saona Island Carnival special there.

Seavis for sure !!! I agree taxi was a little crowded but it was very fun once we got to the island . Also the starfish was fun to see too

We will be there Oct 2015 and am wondering if there are any tour vendors once you disembark Was there in 2006 with another cruise line......was not impressed with La Romana then. Thanks
