classic drinks-can you pay extra for 1 drink

I have the classic package - if i wanted to purchase a cocktail not on package, can you pay the difference in price for that drink ??:confused:

You do not pay the "additional" You pay the entire cost of the drink. It really pays to upgrade as the upgrade is about the cost of a good Martini or glass of better wine. Well worth it-especially if you got the package for free.

Unfortunately no. With the classic pkg you're stuck paying full price. If you upgrade to premium then you'll only have to pay the difference.

Most drinks are covered on the premium package.

And with the premium package you CAN pay the difference for a drink that is more than the package limit. You will find most drinks within the limit though (some wines and finer liquors are over).

Can you do this on first day on board using OBC ? Or is it best to do prior to sailing

Yes on board you can use OBC. And you don't have to upgrade the first day. You can upgrade a few days in, and then it will be for the duration of the cruise. It's what we're going to do on our TA.

It looks like you are on the same cruise as us and I will be doing exactly that - upgrading when I am on board using my obc. DH won't bother as the classic will suit him just fine.

There is an active roll call going for the cruise - come and join!

We upgraded about an hour after boarding while sitting in the ocean view buffet. So glad we did. The wine I wanted was just above the $ limit by 50 cents and sometimes we were asked to pay that and sometimes they didn't bother.
