Dropping Off Half of Party At Port Before Going to Car Rental Return

Hi - we are renting a car in Orlando for a couple days for a pre-cruise Disney stop. Hope to drop of part of our group and luggage at Port Everglades before returning rental cars to FLL.

A couple quesitons - will we be able to check our luggage in before returning rental car? Will our group be able to get through security and wait in terminal or even check-in and get on ship without remainder of group?

No problem dropping luggage. Also no problem having a portion of your group check-in, as long as everyone has the proper boarding documents.

We've done it numerous times over the last 4 years when we travel with my cousin and her dh. They drop us off at the pier, and then they return the rental car. Sometimes they get back before we board; other times they meet us in our cabins. We've never had a problem with it.
