Lonedreamer Posted November 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Hi there I have genuinely looked through a large number of the Labadee threads to see if there is an answer to this question but I cant find one. Someone has said that you can buy drinks using your sea pass on the island, but I just wanted to know - would you need cash for anything on the island....or can you pay for excursions as well as drinks with the card. Just trying to work out if we would need to take any cash out or if the card is enough. Thank you!
Toddcan Posted November 10, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 10, 2014 (edited) The only thing you need cash for is if you want to buy anything from the markets. There are two markets - an indoor one with set prices (cash) and an outdoor one where you can haggle -with lots of huts/kiosks (cash). Drinks, excursions, etc are all paid with your cabin card. cb at sea Posted November 11, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 11, 2014 The ONLY thing you'll need cash for is to tip the chair boys (if you use them to move loungers for you) or the "straw market". Everything else you could purchase will go on your sea pass....it's just like being on the ship!
