My husband and I will be arriving in Honolulu on 9-28. We are staying at the Sheraton in Waikiki before and after our cruise on the POA. Just wondering if its easier and more economical to take taxis back and forth from airport to hotel and hotel to ship rather than make reservations with a car service.

Thanks for the info. By any chance, do you know how much it is from the airport to the Sheraton? Don't know if it's worth saving a few dollars and waiting a half hour for the uber at the airport. (Since you have to call after you get your luggage). It's our first time in Hawaii and know we will be sooo excited to get out of the airport and get to see our 50th state!!

You won't wait half an hour for an Uber at HNL, it'll be a few minutes. I'd only use a cab if it was a flat rate cab ($35+ tip). There are shuttles like Hawaii23 ($23+ tip for 2) and Go808 Express ($25+ tip) that I would also use before a cab.
