Great Trip to Mt Etna and Taomina

We took a great full day private tour of Mt Etna, Taomina, and Castelmola with Sicily Limousine Service in October 2014. We would highly recommend our guide Calogero who was very knowledgeable, pleasant and accommodating. We were picked up at the port in Catania on time with a very clean Mercedes car and headed to Mt Etna. The fog was rolling in but we were still able to see a lot and enjoy the drive up. We then drove up to Castelmola and later to Taomina. Both towns were very charming and scenic...definitely worth a stop. Since I recently had knee surgery and have trouble with steps and hills, Calogero was very accommodating finding ways to minimize my climbing so that I could focus on the most important things to see. The price was reasonable and well worth the extra cost compared to the ship's excursion to have the flexibility and ability to cover more sights in a day.

I also think the area is beautiful and highly recommend people visiting there.
