Alicomp Posted March 17, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2007 We will soon be on the Navigator and will bring or laptops. Is there wireless in the suites? If not, where can we use our laptops? What is the charge for connecting on the ship? Thank you. Alicomp

Pam Posted March 17, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2007 There is wireless in the cabins, and the speed is actually pretty fast. You buy packages of minutes, and the bigger the package, the less it costs per minute.
AlanR2 Posted March 18, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 18, 2007 We recently sailed on the Navigator. I was told at reception that there is wi-fi throughout the ship. I found, in fact, that if I went down to the reception area and logged on, at the Navigator lounge, it was great. In fact, they would kindly bring me a cappucino while I did so which was WONDERFUL. When I tried t log on in my cabin, it was usally a very weak link. I could actually get my e-mail if I sat close to the vanity area (close to the door) rather than over by the desk and deck. Long story short: if you want to, you can get on-line in the cabin, but it's eaiser and quite nice if you carry your laptiop to the lounge and do it there. Their rates were very reasonable. Thank you all for the great info! Do you happen to know...is the wi-fi available worldwide? Or is it dependent on the geographical location of the ship? HomeLover Posted March 19, 2007 #6 Share Posted March 19, 2007 I have been to the Baltic and had no trouble with WIFI. At that point they did not have it inall the cabins. I understand they do now. Another place that is quiet and comfortable is the Connisour Lounge.
