mike_arruda Posted May 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2013 Hello! On the Epic, we really enjoyed sunbathing au naturel. On the Epic, the freestyle deck was sort of out of the way. On the Breakaway, it looks like the freestyle deck would get a lot of traffic with people going startboard to port and vice versa. Any feedback would be appreciated? thanks, Mike
keystoneboarder Posted May 21, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2013 Just got back. The freestyle sundeck is fairly open and easily accessible. It's not hidden like on the Epic. It's one of best places to get really good views. I'd be surprised if anyone would choose to sunbathe au naturel. Not really private.
computerworks Posted May 22, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2013 Really? Are you sure you looked at the "Freestyle Sundeck?" (oooh, that didn't come out quite right. :p ) Deck 18, highest spot on the ship, with solid walls all around?
bear3412 Posted May 22, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 22, 2013 Yet more centrally located. Area appears to have stairs from Vibe on 16 starboard, and stairs from public sundeck port side on deck 17. Plans show freestyle deck on 18 fwiw, as we all know. ;) I will say this appears as the largest FS deck I have ever seen. Not as though I will be visiting said deck. :(

newcruiser48 Posted May 22, 2013 #6 Share Posted May 22, 2013 Do I see tables next to the loungers? I don't recall tables on the Jewel, we had to put our drinks on the deck.

We picked the week before on Breakaway so the teachers in our group could go. The next week was too close to school opening. I can't wait!!! mike_arruda Posted May 24, 2013 Author #10 Share Posted May 24, 2013 thanks for the feedback and really nice picture. The freestyle deck is a lot nicer than the epic. I did notice the blocked walls. However, still think there would be a lot of traffic going port to starboard and vice versa? I guess we'll have to wait for some au naturel feedbackk to come in. mike_arruda Posted May 24, 2013 Author #12 Share Posted May 24, 2013 rydan, thanks for the funny! Some people simply like to enjoy the freestyle deck. Very easy to avoid seeing people's "junk", don't go to the freestyle deck. Enjoy Life! take care, Mike
rydan Posted May 25, 2013 #13 Share Posted May 25, 2013 Mike, I have no issue with anyone going Au natural. Go have fun, I was just being myself. I do not take these boards as seriously as some others do. Besides my wife always enjoys the adult deck. (*)(*) they same way you do. Have a great holiday weekend...
