GSC cabanas...selection?

We have reserved a small cabana for our trip in December on the Getaway. Do we need to do anything re selection once on board? Or are they randomly assigned? We are heading to guest services anyway to get the waiver signed for our 18 year old to drink, amongst other things like setting up our cash account, but wasn't sure about how this goes down and my searches have led me only to other cruise line policies/procedures.

We've always had our Cabana Number on the "Shore Excursion" envelope left in the cabin the first day. AFAIK they are assigned in the order they are booked.
