From the London/UK Daily Mail travel section yesterday, they have this overall headline: "ten hottest travel spots for 2017 " with this highlight subhead: "Golden shores of the Caribbean".

Here are some of the highlights cited: "Turks and Caicos is famed for its beautiful Long Bay beach, often voted among the best in the world. The Shore Club is the first resort on the famous stretch of sand. A beautiful colonial building with 106 suites and six villas, its setting is ideal for relaxation. Active types can try everything from snorkelling to exploring the island by bike — all included in the price. When to go: The peak season is from December to March, with dry weather and warm temperatures of 27c."

When we did lots in the Caribbean in the first time in 2015, as detailed below on my live/blog, we did not get to Turks and Caicos. BUT, it sounds like it needs to be on our future to-do listing. Others who have been there should share more on their experiences, lives, etc., from being there.

From our Jan. 25-Feb. 20, 2015, Amazon River-Caribbean combo sailing over 26 days that started in Barbados, here is the link below to that live/blog. Lots of great visuals from this amazing Brazil river and these various Caribbean Islands (Dutch ABC's, St. Barts, Dominica, Grenada, etc.) that we experienced. Check it out at:
