Is it possible to make it to the ferry by 7:45am?

We'll be in Tortola in a few weeks on the Disney Fantasy. The Fantasy will be in port from 7:30am until 5:45pm. We're interested in going to Virgin Gorda to see the Baths, but like most, would like to see it as early as possible to avoid crowds. Well, we dropped the ball on booking private charters that would get us there ahead of the cruise ship excursions (kicking myself for this, but oh well) and they seem to be fully booked. My question is, how possible (or impossible) would it be for us (2 adults, 2 kids) to get off the ship on our own and make it to the 7:45am ferry? Having only 15 minutes to get there makes me think it is on the impossible side of the spectrum, but are the port times listed a definite? Has anyone had experience with the cruise ship letting guests off the ship before the stated times? Or are the stated times usually pretty accurate?

Can you please provide the date you are in Tortola?

And you found that Patouche was full? Joe often has the cat for longer port times and has a powerboat for smaller groups so just want to be sure that is not an option.

We will be in port on Tuesday, November 8th. When I had posted this last night, I hadn't yet heard back from Patouche. However, upon checking my email this morning, Joe had replied and he does have space. His itinerary has us stopping at the Baths later in the afternoon (after most of the cruise tours)... have you found this a good time to visit the Baths?

Yes indeed - you are very fortunate to have the later option as most folks will be taking the earliest ferries - I would grab it!
