elaine5 Posted October 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 10, 2013 I am choosing between 2 cruises, similar dates (late Sept 2014), ports, and cost. However, one stops at Providence, the other at Portland. Please share your preferences and why? thanks, Elaine
1025cruise Posted October 10, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 10, 2013 What cruise line stops in Providence? That is NOT a normal port of call.

What are the cruise lines you are considering? SBtS
elaine5 Posted October 10, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted October 10, 2013 Newport, not Providence.

Late Sept is too early for significant foliage change in Newport. If not, I prefer Newport simply because I enjoy visiting there. SBtS

Both have nice shops and restaurants. Newport also has the Mansions.
