crown princess n v outbreak

Recommended Posts

just been reading the news on one of the vessel tracking sites and a big out break of noro virus has raised its ugly head on the crown princess ship affecting over 100 passengers and crew, around 3% of the capacity, just shows its not just some of the thomson ships that people slam on facebook that get it.

Sadly an unfortunate possibility anywhere. Our hospital had several wards closed and recently came within an ace of shutting down the hospital altogether! Nasty illness but what can you do? Just try to be careful yourself - and keep washing your hands, sanitising and hope your fellow travellers are equally responsible!

We have been on Crown Princess twice, a lovely ship. We were booked to go on her in the Caribbean in 2010, but cancelled after our friend, who we were going with, had a stroke. We then booked the Dream and had a lovely holiday, then we read that the cruise we had cancelled had an NV outbreak and had been forced to return to port two days early, after only visiting one island. A narrow escape  Got me in the end though:D:D
