Budget rental near Tampa port?

We are looking for the nearest Budget location to Tampa port. We are flying in day before the cruise and renting from Budget in the airport. Looking at options to return the car to nearest location to Tampa port instead of returning the car to the airport location. Just trying to avoid the airport hassle on morning of cruise if we can. :)

It looks like the Embassy Suites Downtown Tampa now has a Budget Car Rental. Who knew-something new. Anyhow, this hotel is 2 blocks from the port, but 2 long blocks. They may have a shuttle to take you over.

Thank you! I will check into this drop off location. Even if they don't have a shuttle we are completely fine with getting a taxi to port.
