  1. I received this email too. I'm curious as well if there are better discounts on board.
  2. This past weekend, mine did the same thing for anytime dining. Your cruise docs on boarding summary page will show the correct dining.
  3. Thanks for sharing. We are going on this same cruise in March!!
  4. I can confirm also that yes adults can renew by mail. But must fit criteria that sparks1093 posted. Mine took 4 weeks and my husband's just a few days more than mine.
  5. I sent mine in first week of January and I was notified that it was mailed out yesterday. So about 4 weeks for me too. Still waiting on my husband's even though they received the renewals the same day.
  6. I paid off some of my current booking and received a confirmation email right away from Am Ex however it did state credit will be applied if terms and conditions are met. Both my husband and I have Am Ex cards (different accounts) and I had the offer but he did not. For those that are trying to find it, once you log into your account, scroll down on main page and see the section Amex Offers & Benefits (you can filter by travel) and Carnival offer will be there. But like I said, my husband's card did not have the offer, but mine did.
  7. Thanks for the heads up, I added it to my Delta Am Ex card. The fine print terms and conditions say valid only for reservations made from 7/3 thru 8/19 though. I am going to try and pay some of my current reservation balance and see what happens :)
  8. We sailed mostly Carnival until a few years ago. We love Norwegian and are going back on the Escape next year. The biggest change for us was making show reservations ahead of time online. We also made dinner reservations ahead of time at the main restaurants if there were shows we wanted to see the same night. Margaritaville is cool. Was never crowded. Loved O'Sheehans for the casual pub food and atmosphere. Don't miss the dueling pianos! So fun. Enjoy your cruise!!
  9. I got sick of waiting for a tax free sale and this morning I booked Escape next March. Our family of 4 will be paying $727 in taxes/port fees. Sigh. I was hoping for the tax free promo. But I was worried the cruise price was going to go up since its during spring break.
  10. Same here! I was looking at an 8 nt on Adventure yesterday for my family of 4. With this new sale today, our cabin costs would be $1,000 more. 😳 Not a sale!!
  11. The sale is going on for 13 more hours. Ho hum...I'm starting to doubt they are going to run the tax free sale this year.
  12. I feel like all the "freebies" are jacking up the prices. We cruised for a lot less last year and the year before.
