La Plage Beach Break

Just returned from our cruise. On St. Maarten we prebooked the La Plage Beach Break through Island Marketing. Pick up was as promised. Had a great ride to the beach, driver was very informative and gave us a tour of the island on our way to Anse Marcel. He dropped us off and said that he would pick up back up at 3. He promptly arrived to pick up at 3 as promised. Beach was lovely! Not to crowded, although the beach did drop off rather quickly and a little rocky. We were given as promised 2 padded loungers, and umbrella and even a little table. Lunch was awesome, choice of 3 items. The only drawback and it is no ones fault is the language barrier but with my limited French and their limited broken English we did converse and got our needs met. It was a lovely relaxing day!

Water was not rough at all, a few waves people were playing water frisbee. Unless you can swim don't go out too far as I said it drops off quickly. but may have just been the part of the beach we were at. You may see topless ladies there and keep eye on the swimwear model. It was a good day.
