RAYMORRA Posted October 30, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2007 Looking at a cruise out of Vancouver end of September next year ending up in Hawaii. There are 5 days at sea...anyone know if they will be overcast and chilly or warm and sunny. The cruise I just finished going to the Mexican Riviera in mid October was overcast and chilly the 1st and last days at sea...Being from Michigan, I get enough of that at home! Does anyone know the route they take? I certainly don't want 5 days of overcast and chilly and not be able to lay out by the pool....anyone had any experiences? TeaBag Posted October 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 31, 2007 We did this several years ago, mid September and the first 4 days or so were overcast, but we sat in the hot tubs and around the pool and I got one of the worst sunburns I've ever had......It was quite warm even though it was overcast, and obviously the rays were getting through. I might add that I didn't talk to a single person on that cruise who was glad to see land. We all just loved the sea days. Go for it.
Texas_firefighter Posted November 4, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 4, 2007 I might add that I didn't talk to a single person on that cruise who was glad to see land. We all just loved the sea days. Go for it. We are going the opposite way in April'09.Those sea days will be wonderful after 7 days in the islands with a port everyday!
