Cozumel excursion: what to plan if we are NOT looking for the beach or scuba?

I know it sounds funny as most would look forward to the water/beach in Cozumel. But, we live in So FL with boating/scuba and beach so the cruise day in Cozumel leaves me wondering about rain forest? horseback riding? ruins? We'd like to take the dune buggy ride for scenery or horseback for scenery. Any suggestions? TIA

There is no rain forest on Cozumel, there are lots of trees, there is a zip line. I'd recommend an island tour with stops at the ruins and a beach bar or 3.

Mayan SteamLodge

Hm...my husband participates in Native American sweatlodges. That mayan steam thing seems right up his alley. Alas, we will be on Carnival and not RC. I need to do some searching of private companies or ways to get hooked up with that. Any ideas?
