Tours offered at port?

We are going to be in St. Martin in a few weeks on the NCL Gem. We dock at 8am and leave at 5pm. We would like to take a tour of the island and also spend some time at Maho to watch the planes. I can't find any offered excursions that would allow us to do both. On other cruises, there were a ton of offerings when you get off the boat for all kinds of tours. Does St. Martin have this too? I'm hoping to find a nice island tour that gets back to the boat early enough for us to take a taxi to Maho and be able to catch an afternoon plane or two at least.

Yes, there is a taxi stand area outside of the port shopping where you can find taxis and tours offered. Very easy to do.
