4774Papa Posted May 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2017 Mystery Island is one of our ports on Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas TP next year. That island is listed by cruise critic as one of the top ten cruise ports in the World. DW and I don't snorkel, but Royal has an excursion on a Glass Bottom Boat Tour: Gather the group and explore the amazing reef surrounding Mystery Island as well as a fascinating underwater world — all without getting wet. Onboard a glass-bottom boat, relax under the shaded canopy and view a wide variety of tropical fish and turtles, colorful coral and other sea creatures. All along the way, friendly and knowledgeable guides provide commentary as you discover the beauty of Vanuatu lying just beneath the water’s surface. Has anyone taken this tour or a similar private tour. It is $78 pp, more than I want to pay, but it is likely our only option unless we snorkel. peter.kath@hotmail.com Posted May 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2017 At $78 it is definitely overpriced. Mystery Island is really just a nice beach day. There are some local tours available. My husband normally goes fishing. I have a massage and enjoy a look through the markets stalls. Sent from my iPad using Forums
