Atv's

We will be on carnival breeze in June, and stopping on grand Turk. Carnival offers an excursion for atv's but it's pretty pricey. Does anyone know of any private tour company that offers this? Thank you in advance for any help :D:D

Be advised though these look similar to the ATVs I've seen used on cruise excursions. Generally, companies that handled cruise ship excursions do not (or cannot by contract) separately book cruise ship passengers. But you can contact the company and find out. FYI, the reason the prices are higher for cruise ship excursions is that cruise ships get 40-60% of the proceeds and the excursion provider needs to cover costs as well.

Hi, we looked around for the same type of excursion and found most companies have contracts with one line or another. We booked our thru Princess for $199 which is for 2 people. Of course we don't know which Dune Buggy company it is, but it does sound like fun.

Does anyone know how "dirty" you get. Just want to make sure we wear something old.:D

Also, somewhere else on this forum another poster mentioned to bring your ship's towel as the seats get very hot when you are not on the Buggy.:eek:

Karib in Grand Turk: Rent ATV and golf carts

We have visited Grand Turk twice and will be returning in January. You can go right outside the gates to see if he has a golf cart if you have not reserved in advanced. This company is dependable; that is they are at the right outside the gate when the ship docks and not an hour late. There are ATV rentals [/b]available,too. but we prefer golf carts. The view from the lighthouse was awesome. Govenor's beach wasn't quite as nice as I thought it would be. The prison ($3 admission) and the Turks and Calicos Museum ($5 admission) were interesting.
