Hobby (HOU) to hotel near port in Houston

Just booked a cruise out of Houston for Nov 11. We're flying in a day early and staying 2 nights after.

For the pre & post cruise nights, we're looking at the Best Western Seabrook Suites. They have a free shuttle to/from the cruise port. We're trying to figure out the best way to get to the hotel from the airport (HOU-Hobby).

Any suggestions?

Your best bet might be Yellow Cab. You can catch them easily enough at the airport. I was looking up the fare from Hobby to the cruise terminal for someone on my cruise's roll call and it was around $48 one way for 19 miles. Since Seabrook is only a couple of miles from the port, it shouldn't be much more than that.

If you do a search for "Yellow Cab Houston" you'll find their website and can look up the price on their fare calculator. I think you might even be able to book a cab in advance.

Have you been over to our roll call, we will be on the same cruise. Very excited. this will be our first time going on a cruise out of houston. hope all goes well.

I am taking this cruise Jan 25. Would be interested on your experiences getting to or from Hobby to port. We are staying at same hotel you are. I started a roll call last month for my cruise but so far nobody has responded. Perhaps we will have the ship to ourselves:)

Thanks for the replies. We ended up having to fly into/out of IAH, due to scheduling. We're using Princess xfer from the airport to the ship. It's $48 for both of us. We thought was was a pretty good deal.
