WTD tendering into St Thomas.

We will be tendering into St Thomas on the NCL Gem. I understand we will be dropped off in the shopping district. What is there to do from there? We would like to go to the beach but would like other options. What are the advantages of being dropped off at this location?

You will be dropped off on the waterfront across the street from shopping and dining delights. There will be plenty of taxis to take you to a beach. The Reefer ferry is right there if you want to go to Frenchman's Reef and walk or shuttle over to Morning Star Beach.

You can walk to the ice sculpture gallery, Magic Ice, try local food at Gladys' or Cuzzins, walk to the Belgian Chocolate Factory and watch them make chocolates, and walk around taking photos in addition to taking a taxi to a beach.

Is Morning Star Beach a public beach?

All beaches are open to the public. Morning Star Resort, part of the Marriott, is there. There are a couple of bars, a restaurant, shops, water toys. You would be welcome there, if that is what you are asking.:)
