Service Charge for Deluxe Beverage Package and VOOM One Device on Anthem

Does anyone know what the service charge on the drink & VOOM package is for? I wanted to buy 2 packages for an upcoming 9-night cruise at $49 per person per day. When I went to purchase it, Royal Caribbean has added a $127 service charge. The fine print doesn't explain what the charge applies to. Would appreciate any help.

The service charge is 18% added to the portion of the charge Royal allocates to the drink package.

You're welcome. Doing the math it looks like they allocated about $39 / day to the drink package.

Its basically gratuities for the drink package. If you ordered by the drink they would add 18% to each drink as gratuity, you've now pre-paid that. Feel free to tip extra - I've found a few dollar bills go a long way.
