Has anyone stayed at the Hilton Waikiki beach the night before the cruise??

If you mean the Hilton Hawaiin Village, yes i have. In fact we'll be staying there in November on a land vacation. On our NCL cruise we did a pre and post stay there. We love it there.

We stayed at the Hilton Waikiki Beach (not the Hilton Hawaiian Village, which is a different hotel) before and after our POA cruise in December last year. We were very happy with it.

A guy from work was there last week, he had no complaints.

We stayed 2 nights in August before our cruise. Nice hotel friendly staff. Massive portions in the Mac 24 cafe.

Hilton Hawaiian Village is a "nice" spot to be on a Friday night, go for drinks with your loved one, and watch fireworks explode above you.....great fun.

We've stayed at 5 different hotels along Waikiki.

IMHO the best place to stay is Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach, with all the action, it has the restaurants, the club, the view.

If you don't want to be right in the middle of everything, you might think about another area, like the Resort at Turtle Bay.

Do any of these hotels have rental car facilities on sight? My wife and I are arriving Thursday afternoon and want to tour Pearl Harbor and the rest of the island over the next two days. Worried about parking overnight and dropping off rental car.

Hilton Hawaiin Village has a rental car agency on site.

The Hilton Hawaiian Village is a LARGE complex of resort towers, restaurants, etc, etc....if you like that sort of thing, then go for it, however, I would have to agree with "Soaked by the Sea" in his posting, I to like the Outrigger Hotels right on the beach, with loads of eating places nearby, like Dukes Restaurants,

or walk down Beachwalk to the loads of eating places & boutique shops.
