Luggage drop off to family at Cozumel - is this OK?

Cozumel is one of our Western Caribbean ports in September. I have family in Cozumel and would like to drop off luggage for them. It will just contain gifts like clothes, shoes and food. Nothing perishable. Will they allow me take the luggage off the ship?

I just want to make sure before I make the journey paying for one extra luggage then get embarrassed because I can't take it off ship.

Thanks.

I think this is a question for MSC to answer.

The posted limitation to what you cannot take off the ship is relates to agricultural items (and probably the stray goat);p No reason you cannot take luggage off the ship in the same manner you take a back pack off the ship for a day at the beach.
