On our Own or Book through Cruise line???

I am thinking about doing the Tabyana beach day. I was wondering if we should try to get there on our own or book it as an excursion through carnival? :confused:

You can hire a taxi driver to take you there and bring you back. They will take you there, wait for you, and bring you back. They charge around $20 per person for 4 peope to be at your disposal for as long as you need them. Chair rental on the beaches costs a few dollars per chair. We had 2 chairs for our group of 4 people. Have a great time. I wish I could go back.

i'd say do it on ur own, the cruise line is expensive, u'll get alot more for a lot less, we did ours with Roatan Tourist Information Center and had tons of fun with then (ziplining, craigcat n snorkling)

Book it on your own. We hired a driver for the day and it was great. A tour of the island, beach, shopping, the works.

I could be wrong, but I think Tabyana beach is specifically for the ships excursions. I think you can go to a beach next though if you go on your own.
