Bonorong: Morning or Afternoon?

Our ship has excursions from 9:30 - 12:30, or 1:30 to 4:30. Any thoughts on whether the morning or afternoon would be a better time for a visit to Bonorong?

We live 1km from Bonorong Park, my sister and her family were here from NZ over Christmas, they went to Bonorong one moring and were disappointed as most of the animals were asleep or not visible, so going by that Id say afternoon.

It is a very good park with a large range of animals.
