Independent snorkel vendors?

Any recommended independent snorkel vendors that are convenient to the cruise ship dock that people recommend?

May just do shore snorkeling but would like a better experience, if available.

You'll find Papa John around the beach just past Maragaritaville. Great fishing boat, not sure how good his snorkel guides are. Grand Turk Divers and Blue Water Divers are both in Cockburntown and do independent snorkeling tours. Oasis Divers, also a good company, handles the ship excursions. All of these folks have websites you can google for information.

We have done http://www.whitesandssnorkel.com twice. Do the 3 stop tour...takes you over to Gibbs cay where you have fresh conch salad, and baby sharks and stingrays come circle around your ankles.They congregate just to the left off the pier.
