You are right! And I looked before posting to make sure. Guess I missed it. Apparently the guy was a newlywed and was taking a honeymoon after a one year vow renewal.

And this is the second time in the past year a passenger on this ship has gone overboard.

UPDATE: At 5:57p, after 29 hours and 1,000+ sq miles, the Coast Guard suspended its search. More here.

Part of USCG statement:

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Mr. Scott during this extremely difficult time,” said Christopher Eddy, search and rescue mission coordinator for the Coast Guard Seventh District command center. “Suspending a search is one of the most difficult decisions we have to make and it is made with great care and consideration.”

You must be privy to information no one else knows I have not found anything that says he jumped.
