Information on ESJ Towers

Just booked the ESJ Towers through Hotwire. Wondering if anyone would know what type of room to expect once we check in. Or any other information from anyone who has stayed here would be appreicated. Thanks!

I stayed there this past January precruise for my Valor cruise but I stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath private condo. I called recently about booking a room through them directly for my November precruise night and I guess they have "hotel like" rooms too with either one king or 2 queen beds.

Its a nice place. Right on the beach. Next door to the El San Juan Hotel which has a casino and a really great Sports Bar on the 10th Floor. Its very close to the airport and you can hear the planes take off and land but its not to the point where it disturbs you. There is a Publix a few blocks away and also so decent restaurants.

ESJ Towers themselves has a little breakfast restaurant (not free) a small bar in the lobby and a store (little and expensive). I was very tempted to rebook for my November cruise, especially for the price but wanted to stay in Old San Juan this time so I ended up booking at the Sheraton Old San Juan. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the ESJ Towers again, especially if I had a few days to lay on the beach.

Thank you girlscruise2011 for your candid response. I appreciate it.

Your very welcome. Just an FYI, if you like Buffalo Wings, definately try the Sports Bar at the El San Juan. They were fantastic! Thats the one thing I'm disappointed in that I'm not staying there in November. I was looking forward to returning for wings and a beer. Maybe I'll just take a cab this time.

Enjoy!

We have stayed at ESJ Towers several times. We really like the place. They have a free breakfast buffet for guests. The rooms are nice size. ESJ Towers has a large pool, is located on Isla Verde Beach, has free use of computers, and they give you coupons to eat at various places. I like the grocery store which is within walking store. If you want to purchase Puerto Rican coffee then buy it there. There is a nice Mexican restaurant located next door to the condo/hotel.

Send me an email if you have further questions.
