Has anyone recently booked any tours with Hawaii Discount? Are they reliable? Will we get our money back if the ship doesn't port?

Do you mean this one? I haven't used them, but their cancellation policy doesn't mention refunds for the scenario that you describe.

I am considering using this company to get tickets to Germaines luau. Has anyone ever used them, it is a considerable saving. The reviews I have found when googled were 4 and 5 years ago so would like some a little newer. Thanks

I got our tickets for Germaine's through them... although I can't use them for another 2 months. I did notice a glitch when I was reviewing the confirmation; they had given me driving directions instead of hotel pick up. Easily corrected with one phone call, new confirmation email followed within minutes.
