Space Center Tour/ Transportation

Any ideas on transportation from Galveston to the Space Center for a tour, and then on to Hobby Airport? We need to have our luggage in a secured area while we tour, or we would simply take a cab. RCCL offers a transportation/tour but the flight is our of Bush Airport.

We considered doing the RCCL post cruise tour, but after researching the space center we decided there was not enough time to see everything. If you consider how long RC says the excursion is (4:15) minutes and its probably a 45 minute drive to the space center, then they have to leave with time to get to Bush Intl by 3 pm. I think there may be shuttle companies or car services that you could book a tour through. We've considered flying in two days early and renting a car. Hobby is closer to the space center.

Any websites we could go to that offer the best pricing for a day pass to the center?

We will be a family of 3 and thought we'd spend our day before the cruise visiting the center.

Thank you very much. We plan to go on a Friday. Should we get there when it opens up or is it ok to take a leisurely approach and arrive later?

Timing is up to you and how you wish to spend your day.

Going early will give you the time to see it all then perhaps do something else.
