Victoria Tours for Limited mobility folks?

Recommended Posts

Going on a short "repositioning" cruise from Vancouver to San Diego in a couple of weeks.

Going with DW and her elderly parents. Both of them are of limited mobility.

They can "walk" and "climb" small steps, but need a wheelchair when we're boarding the ship and walking in the airport and boarding the plane..etc.

We are going to be in Victoria, BC for a short time. I think around 6 or 8 hours. We're looking just for an overview bus tour. My DW and I have done this tour through the ship.

"Holland America" but as I remember there is a long walk from the ship to where the buses are parked, plus getting into the large bus could be a problem.

Any suggestions for a smaller tour company that would be a short easy walk? And possible smaller bus?

Thanks

Victor

This company offers a variety of tours and has accessible coaches but you do need to advise them of your needs in advance so that they will schedule that type of bus. At the Ogden Point terminal the distance from cruise ship to the tour buses is scarcely more than a block.
