Has anyone had any luck using one company for three trips. LHR to London, London to Southampton and finally Southampton to LHR post cruise. I was wondering by offering three trips if we could get a better rate.

We booked a car service for two rides last fall. One from the train station in London after our Eurostar from Paris to the place we rented in Battersea area. The second was a ride to Southampton to board a cruise. Both trips were very well done. The driver was early for both, and he was very personable. I don't think you would get much of a rate break because you would book 3 rides but can't hurt to ask I suppose

Would you like the contact information I used to book? :)

I think it highly unlikely that you will get a 'deal' by booking all three trips.

I would book the LHR to London trip with a local taxi like http://www.londonheathrowcars.com/.

For the London to Southampton and Southampton LHR trips I would use a South based firm like:

http://www.westquaycars.com (Portsmouth)

http://www.aquacars.co.uk (Southampton)

Running empty is a loss for a taxi firm. Simply Airports are based in South London and that is fine for access to LHR and LGW, but less so for Southampton.

The three companies, (note I swapped the locations) are based in or near Southampton so for a London > Southampton trip, they will be going home. This means that they may well offer a better price.

I don't know if it's because we've used them in the past, but our price for London to Southampton from Simply Airports was the same as 2 other quotes we got and far less than Aqua Cars' quote.
