renting beach gear at Chileno Beach (Cabo)

If we go to Chilean Beach, we'd like to snorkel and have beach chairs for the afternoon. Maybe an umbrella, too.

What would the best way be to go about renting these?

I've heard of people hiring private drivers to come here. This is something they could provide for us? If so, any recommendations for people/companies?

thanks. :)

I believe you are looking for an industry that doesn't exist (yet). The attraction is the bay, not the beach. There is some infrastructure in place to support the future Chileno Bay Club. However, this is still a you-bring-it-if-you-want-it destination. There used to be a dive shop on the beach but the Bay Club development chased them off in 2005.

This isn't Coki Beach in the USVI. There isn't a stand that rents umbrellas and beach chairs. No beach restaurants with chairs/umbrellas like Medano Beach. You can get a taxi to take you to Chileno but you will have to make arrangements to be picked up at a pre-determined time (no taxis just hanging out & waiting for a fare).

This may be a tough destination to do on your own with kids.
