How long do stewards keep their cabin assignments?

We will be in the same cabin that we were in last year. Would it be likely that we'll get the same steward?

I would say that it is highly unlikely. They are normally on something like a 10 month contract followed by time back home with their families. When they renew their contract it could be with another ship of the same cruiseline. You never know though, you might get lucky.

One time we were on HAL (think in the same year) and we had the same ones. They remembered us and we remembered them.
