Is this route safe for a morning jog

Personally, I wouldn't do it. Nassau tends to get congested with both vehicle and pedestrian traffic. I would much rather run on either the running track or the treadmills on board. Much safer in my opinion.

I'd have to say NO.. it's not a safe run.. Can't think of any 2-5 mile stretch that would be safe. Either traffic, no sidewalks, or crime itself would make it a danger. Even a run to Arawak Cays' Fish Fry would mean being in traffic or cutting through active parking lots.

 

Additionally, don't go out early morning before the shops open around 9am. You'll trip over homeless people sleeping in the streets and benches. Not pretty. Cops round them up around 8 ish.
