LSUfan4444 Posted December 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 1, 2016 Never been to Nassau before and was curious if there were any issues with this route if I wanted to go for a jog once off the boat.
riccox Posted December 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 1, 2016 Personally, I wouldn't do it. Nassau tends to get congested with both vehicle and pedestrian traffic. I would much rather run on either the running track or the treadmills on board. Much safer in my opinion.
scubagirrl Posted December 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted December 2, 2016 (edited) I'd have to say NO.. it's not a safe run.. Can't think of any 2-5 mile stretch that would be safe. Either traffic, no sidewalks, or crime itself would make it a danger. Even a run to Arawak Cays' Fish Fry would mean being in traffic or cutting through active parking lots. Additionally, don't go out early morning before the shops open around 9am. You'll trip over homeless people sleeping in the streets and benches. Not pretty. Cops round them up around 8 ish. LSUfan4444 Posted December 2, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted December 2, 2016 The only port I've never ran on in the morning that I can remember is in Jamaica. Vehicle and pedestrian traffic doesn't bother me but I had no clue this area was that "bad".
