Penguins in Otway Sound?

Hi, we were planning to do the Penguins of Otway sound tour during our cruise in December; but we're being told there are no penguins there this year. Anyone else heard anything about this?

We visited there in January and there were many penguins. Don't know about this year in December.

We tried to book this as a private tour and were told it was unavailable, not sure why? We are on the same Infinity cruise as you, so not sure as to the reason why this is suddenly off the menu.
