PhotoGal07 Posted August 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2014 My parents will be in Nassau for the day, and are interested in going to Atlantis. The only hiccup is that my father requires an ECV/scooter. He is very unbalanced and can transfer with difficulty on a flat surface, stairs are right out. Is there any way for them to go visit Atlantis, specifically the Aquarium portion? They are interested in going, but I'm finding it difficult to find information on how accessible it is. hn7609 Posted August 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2014 Atlantis and the aquarium are both accessible.............I think the biggest hurdle will be to get there from the pier.
raindropsalways Posted August 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 21, 2014 There is an accessible taxi service. I think if you do a search on this thread you should be able to find the info. If both your father and his scooter are light weight, they can take the ferry to and from. The workers will lift them on and off the ferry. We have taken it.
