How worried should I be about MSC Presciosa?

Going on 7 day cruise from Venice in July . The reviews for the Presciosa are lukewarm to say the least . This is our first cruise and am now worried that we have been sold a bum deal. We bought a drinks package .

Keep in mind that MSC and Costa are Italian cruise lines, mainly marketed to Italians and other mainland Europeans. Most of the bad reviews are written by guests who are accustomed to sailing P&O, Royal Caribbean, Princess...etc. Their expectations differed from what is offered on MSC/Costa. Go with an open mind, and have a good time! EM
