didiaust Posted April 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2017 Do they have kettles/jugs on Aria and also is there a 240 V power point on the desk/bench
Ondine Posted April 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2017 I imagine the Aria is the same as the Eden. You are not allowed to use kettles or jugs in your cabin. There will be a double 3 point outlet on the desk. You are only supposed to use it for recharging phones etc and straightening/curling irons that don't use much power. A hair dryer is supplied in the drawer under the desk. Can't remember if there is a special connection for phones or laptops recharging. Cheers :)
Ekka Posted April 29, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2017 Hopefully the Aria is hopefully a fraction better ship than is the Eden, which departs from Cairns. Aria at least is based in Brisbane, which alone has no fewer than seventeen times the population of the small city of Cairns, and that that's without including the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Toowoomba and northern NSW. So hopefully the Aria is not at all the same as the Eden.
Ondine Posted April 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2017 They are twin sister ships and almost identical except for the location of some of the interconnecting cabins. For several months of the year the Eden home ports Melbourne and then Adelaide before sailing to Perth in order to make trips up and down the west coast of Australia during the southern winter. She gets around a bit. Happy sailing
Ekka Posted April 29, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 29, 2017 Thank you for the reply. I still have hopes that the Aria is better than the other; P and O, silly as they are would surely not place a minor ship in a major city - Brisbane, the city from which Ann Sherry comes. Actually it is surprising that she runs anything from Cairns.
