CRUSINGFAMILY Posted January 11, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2014 Has anyone walked from the cruise ship dock to the Pylon Museum? If so, can you give me any details. I know that you access it from the Bridge pedestrian walk, what I would like to know is how I get there from the cruise dock?

CRUSINGFAMILY Posted January 11, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted January 11, 2014 Thanks, I have that information and discovered something after looking at your answer that I hadn't seen before but I would like to know how long it takes to walk from where the ship docks to this museum. Would you know that? I couldn't seen my post this morning and started another thread so I will see if I can remove that thread and hope for more answers here. Thanks for your reply
annenic Posted January 12, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 12, 2014 It is really not very far at all. Perhaps 10-15 mins walk and once you're on the walkway along Bradfield Hwy is it very easy. Pretty easy walk from the OPT - mostly uphill (not steep though) until you've climbed the stairs up to the bridge. I would recommend a walk over the bridge once you've done the pylon. Fabulous views, great photo opportunities and easy stroll. You can always get a train or ferry back if you need to.
