Unbelievable airfare from United!!

We are not cruising until December, but I have been checking air fares just to get a feel for what is out there. Somewhat scary with the cost of gas rising every day. We live in a small town with a small airport and fares are very steep. I was shocked yesterday to find, via their web site, that United has reduced the ticket that we are after by 60%! We got a $465 ticket for $199.60 each. And the flight times are excellent. I just checked and the discount fares are still there. I thought maybe it was a special for early December only but, no, it gave me the same price for next month.

The only thing that would make this even better for us is if someone reading this thread could also benefit.

Did you purchase it? If so, congratulations on finding a great fare. Where is it from and to?

There's no feeling more satisfying than buying something at a great price that you've had your eye on for a while...

I did purchase it. It is RT from Medford, OR to San Diego, CA. It has been many years since I have seen a fare like that!
