Flyingsnowflake Posted May 24, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2016 Hi dear, we are going to Port Aqaba by NCL Star on Nov 10, 2016, from 7am to 8pm. Any suggestions for group shore excursion tour agency to Petra and Wadi Rum?

John Bull Posted May 25, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2016 Try viaJordan. We did both in April and they did a good job. Hi, Paul, Both in one day? Appreciated that Wadi Rum is only a short diversion off the route to Petra, but it does sound pretty hectic. Did you take a 4x4 out into the desert at Wadi Rum, and did you have enough time at Petra? Our ship was at Aqaba for a day & a half, so it was easy for us - a half-day trip to Wadi Rum & full day for Petra.:) JB :)

It was a long day -- we returned around 9pm and left at 7am. Definitely enough time in Petra. Yes did 4 x 4 in the desert, but this was only 1 1/2 hours. But Petra was definitely the highlight. To the OP if ships docks at 7 and leaves at 8, most definitely you will NOT have enough time to do both.. Edited May 26, 2016 by PaulMCO
karenbeanpole Posted June 18, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 18, 2016 We did both in one day with Bestshore trips last year. I organised 2 coaster buses with 20 people and Ahmed arranged a packed lunch for us to eat while travelling between Petra and Wadi Rum. We started at 7 and were back before 6. It's definitely doable with the right company. And we did the entries Petra emerging at the other end (we didn't walk back up the Siq).
