Any suggestions on the easiest way to get from the Dover Cruise Pier to Paris? We are cruising in September, and want to spend a few days in Paris at the end of the cruise... any help greatly appreciated.

Eurostar (channel tunnel) train

You'll have to back track to Ashford Station (Dover Priory -> Ashford), and then catch the Eurostar there; however only a few trains a day stop at Ashford (there's a 9:55 that's a possibility, Ashford is 30 mins from Dover). Alternately you could backtrack all the way to Ebbsfleet (as fast at 47m by train) on the outskirts of London, and catch the train there, a lot more trains do stop there.

Scottbee's reply re Eurostar is spot-on, that's the quickest way to travel and most would take that route - probably using Ashford rather than Ebbsfleet.

Take the local train from Dover to Ashford. Or a pre-booked private transfer, costing around £40, will take about 30 minutes and will be quicker from ship to Ashford.

There is an alternative.

Cross-channel ferry from Dover (ferry terminal, like Dover Priory station, is a £10 taxi hop from the cruise terminal) to Calais takes about 90 minutes, a ferry every hour or less, then shuttle bus from Calais port to rail station, then (comparatively slow) regional train to Paris. A very pleasant route in good weather, but several hours slower.
