I just got off the Pride Sunday, and as far as I know there was no chocolate buffet. I certainly wish there would have been! If there was one and I didn't know about it, shame on me!!

Mohavemommy, the carnival website talks about the chocolate buffets on the Conquest and the Glory, no mention of it on other ships. chud

We had the chocolate buffet set up on the Pride, Legend and Glory at the nations buffet area at lunch time. This is the area that changes to a different nation each day.

Are there late night buffets on any of the Carnival line ships? As a night owl, I loved that on the NCL ships. Every night a different snack...

There are late night buffets on Carnival but I cannot tell you if it is every night. I always have late seating and I have no room for more food after that so I seldom pay attention to the times and nights.

We have not ever seen a chocolate buffet on Carnival. There was an afternoon chocolate buffet on HAL Zuiderdam. It used to be at midnight but then they moved it to 4:00 in the afternoon. Who wanted to eat at 4:00 when dinner was so close at hand. However, by time we got there, it was almost all gone anyway.

There are midnight buffets every nite on Carnival with one Grand Buffet, usually the second formal night. We don't eat at them either as we have late dinner too but a lot of people do. It is fun going up there and "people watch". You would be amazed how much food people can eat on a cruise.

I have found pics on webshots that people have taken of the Chocolate buffet on Carnival. I just didn't remember what ship it was on.

OK, I am openly addicted to chocolate. Why have I never heard these words "Chocolate Buffet"? If there is a chocolate buffet on the Pride, I don't think I will be sleeping very well until I get on the pride to see what that is all about. SWEET DREAMS

When I was on the Pride in 2002 there was a part of the midnight buffet that was chocolate. I took pictures of it to show my daughter who loves it. It was the night of the ice carvings display. We always go to that to take pictures, usually to full to eat since we have late seating for dinner. It was a wonderful display of chocalate. I will look for the pictures if time permits before I leave here on Friday. I use to have an album on Webshots.com but I haven't check there lately to see if it is still active, you might want to check under KKCruisers there. Hope you get your chocalate full on the cruise! See you all on Sunday! Don't forget to look for the guy with a Packer hat! Till we meet, soon!

Like others, we never were aware of a dedicated chocolate buffet. In general, I was rather disapointed in the choices of chocolate deserts. However, on the last night, we bought a pice of chocolate cake from the Coffe bar stand (next to Starry Night) and it was just amazing. I had a 4-5 layer chocolate piece and my wife had the 4-5 layer carrot cake. Very good cake and a suprising bargain at only $2.00.

According to Currents on the Carnival website, there's a chocolate buffet on the Conquest and on the Glory. Those are the only two ships the article mentions.
